User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:42.0) Gecko/42.0 Firefox/42.0 1. Launch "Bugzilla Lite" app 2. Login 3. Tap Filed 4. Select a bug in Filed list 5. Change the status to "ASSIGNED" (The original status is "NEW") 6. Tap "Save Changes" Actual results: - "Save Changes" button will always be grey - The status doesn't be change after refreshing it

Do you have rights/permission to do it? I have doubts. Please, run tools, network monitor in Firefox. Next, click on "save changes" and observe a http PUT. If the response doesn't equal 200, attach the whole response message as a new comment.

Hi Robert, Sorry, I think you are right. Case 1: The bug is assigned to a person. Result: I can set this bug's status to ASSIGNED. Case 2: The bug is NOT assigned to a person. Result: I cannot change it. By the way, I tried Case 2 in the Bugzilla website. There is a warning message "You cannot set this bug's status to ASSIGNED because the bug is not assigned to a person." It would be nice to have a warning message like that. Thank you. :)

We now show the correct error here "You cannot set this bug's status to ASSIGNED because the bug is not assigned to a person."
Status: NEW → RESOLVED
