Details
This feature is available via the Bugzilla search UI so I assume it is available in the REST API, however, I can't find it!

Like the documentation says at https://bugzilla.readthedocs.org/en/5.0/api/core/v1/bug.html#search-bugs, you can use assigned_to and also any Advanced Search query as the input to REST Search API.

note the docs for bugzilla.mozilla.org are at http://bmo.readthedocs.org/en/latest/api/core/v1/bug.html#search-bugs - we may have slight differences with upstream bugzilla. did you know our UI can generate the rest request for you :) look for the "REST" link under the search results.
