119434 - checksetup.pl list enhancements since last run

Running checksetup.pl on an existing system modifies the installations schema
and functionality, and the admin has to trust those Bugzilla folk that all is well.
A set of bug numbers (already recorded in checksetup.pl) would allow the admin
to make adjustments as required (turn on desirable features that are defaulted
to off).  A contrib/ script to report cvs log messages of new revisions on all
files would also be useful to run before doing an update.

Sounds like a good idea.  Setting severity appropriately so we can track bugs
vs. enhancements.

I'm not sure the extra benefit over the release notes and/or Bonsai is worth it
to warrant getting to this in the near future.  Perhaps we should point those
installations running CVS code to Bonsai.

working on them, and someone else could feel free to work on them. (sorry for

Yes, WONTFIX. I understand the idea, and it's not a bad idea, but I think nowadays it's covered well by the Release Notes and our Changes page.
