Have just upgraded from 38.1.0 to 38.2.0 - now I get the same error. I can send it if I do the following: 1) Closes the email-editor and saves the 'unsent' email in my 'Draft' folder on the mail-server (IMAP) 2) Opens the email from the 'Draft' folder and sent it.

I am having the same problem after upgrading to 38.2.0 Anybody have a fix?
I found that Avast antivirus 2015 (free) was causing the problem on my computer (XP SP3). Solved it by adding the "C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Local Settings\Temp\nsemail*.html" to the exclude list in Avast.
