Configure a network, then leave and return. Sometimes it will reconnect automatically, other times have to manually connect.

Can you please attach the logs? Looks like this is quite intermittent.

Sure. Which logs, and how do I capture them?

I'm seeing this *regularly. Daily, even. I thought it was only when switching wifi networks. However, I've seen it when walking far enough away from home to disconnect and then walking back in, and it will never reconnect.

Please click on the volume button (+/- together) and that should start saving logs. Attach all the logs that are captured.

Hm, ok. I'll try to remember. However, this is the kind of bug that comes from daily use, where I only notice it after it's happened and I notice wifi isn't connected :(

In our triage call participants, there are few daily users but no one else encountered this issue. And its pretty consistent for you. Having logs will be helpful.

Dietrich,
Please see if you hit this issue after the latest OTA. And add any logs you could capture.
QAnalysts - Please try to reproduce this and attach any logs.
Thanks

QA was unable to reproduce this bug after multiple attempts. I did encounter another bug where the device thinks I'm still connected to the AP when I have walked 3 blocks away from it. I'll look into bugging this.
I did this test by flashing to RC4, and OTA'ed to whichever build it is today on default channel.
No repro after OTA to:

According to comment 10, it's hard to reproduce. Lower the priority.

As engineering team, we can do nothing for this issue without reproduction or log for diagnosis.
Set it as resolved for now.
Anyone please re-open this bug once getting and attaching logs.

Ethan, I'm reopening this bug. Just because you cannot reproduce it *yet* doesn't mean it's no longer a real problem ;)

Sure. You are right.
But because the reproduction rate is unclear so far, this bug does not have to be a blocker to 2.5.
Let's keep tracking this bug and anyone who reproduces it please attach logs for analysis.

Oops, accidentally posted this to bug 1199955:
Agh, I saw this again today. Was using phone at home, realized it was on mobile data. Confirmed wifi was enabled, and the phone just wouldn't connect to the known network until I touched that network in the list in the Settings app.
I tried shaking the device for logs but it didn't work. Will try again next time I see it :(
Aries, Oct 19 build from the dogfood-latest OTA channel.

Just want to make sure if you enable "Wifi Sleep Mode" in the settings app. If it's turned on, the wifi would be disabled when you leave your phone unplugged and screen-off for a while.
