when not using gfx widgets, xlib renders gfx widgets but they never get events

If you don't use the user_pref("nglayout.widget.mode", 2); option in your
prefs.js and you are using xlib as the toolkit the gfx widgets render but button
clicks and keyboard events never make it to the proper widgets.	 This means that
none of the widgets work.

Is this Linux specific?
No, it's xlib specific.  I think it's the same problem that were were seeing
last week when the gfx widgets got turned on prematurely.
