- Open Scratchpad - Open Edit Menu --> Notice that there is no 'Replace' entry. - Open Scratchpad documentation (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Scratchpad#Keyboard_shortcuts) by pressing Help|Scratchpad Help You'll notice that Ctrl+Shift+R is only described as: "Reload the current page, then run Scratchpad code". There is no mention for this 'Replace' feature in the page at all. - Now switch to Scratchpad, and press Ctrl+Shift+R: the CodeMirror "Replace:/With:" prompt appears. But, note: once the CodeMirror "Replace:" prompt has focus in scratchpad, Ctrl+Shift+R will reload and run the scratchpad code. So I'd suggest that you add a "Replace" entry in 'Edit' menu and include this action in the description of Ctrl+Shift+R keyboard shortcut in the documentation. Related: bug 995756

Scratchpad was removed in Bug 1519103 (Firefox 72). You can check the alternative in https://wiki.developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Deprecated_tools#Scratchpad .
The Scratchpad bug list was reviewed and I think this bug can be safely closed.
