Choosing AM in the Settings>Time&Date area changes the time to PM after hitting Okay.  The same happens the other way around as well.

This is occurring in Settings, not Clock, per Comment 0.

No, this is actually part of value selector handling <input date>.

qawanted for branch check to see if this is a regression. That code has been sit there for a long time. Might be just how :pdol flicks it differently makes he thinks the selector behaves as such.

I can't reproduce it locally. FWIW.

I was unable to reproduce this issue on the latest Aries and Flame KK builds.  Every time I hit ok to change the AM/PM the time in the notification bar changes correctly.  

Note for anyone else who works on this issue:  Setting the phone's language to English (GB) instead of English (US) will show the AM/PM in the notification bar.
