STR:
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Open the "Sound" panel (it's in the "customization" part of the initial panel).
3. Look if you can change the phone communication volume channel.
=> There is media, ringer and alarm, but not the phone communication.
The only way to change this volume channel is while in a call.

I think it is about UX design.
Harly, how do you think about Comment 0?

I think the reason why there is no way to adjust phone volume in settings is because the user can only use this volume channel while during a call. Also there is no way you can preview the sound like other volume channels in settings as the sound is through headphone speaker and not the phone's speaker. Therefore, I think the current design is fine. Thanks

Harly, as a user, I would find it very useful to have all the volumes in one place only...
What's the downside of having the slider ? (apart from finding the right UX to let the user hear the sound)

One of the downside for having another slider in the sound settings is that it seems kind of complicated and overwhelming to the user to have so many volume adjustments. Also user might get confused between in-call volume and ringtone volume. NI Mark, our UX for audio/sound to see what he thinks.

I agree with Harly, it seems to be nice to have an additional setting for in-call volume but the sound will be from the headphone speaker which is not intuitive to preview the volume. (You have to switch from touching screen in setting app to holding your phone close your ear to preview the volume.)
If we do want to provide the option for setting in-call volume, I actually don't see it too overwhelming, but it needs to have a clear UI to distinguish from ringtone volume. (icon, text...)
btw I've tried Android and iPhone and they both provide in-call volume setting but only when you are in a phone call, which makes more sense in an UX perspective.
