Details

Build ID: 1999070614 (August 15, 1999 build)
Platform: Mac OS 8.6 (Desktop printers are unique to Mac OS)

To reproduce:
[Note: these are instructions specific to Netscape's internal facilities.]
- Use the Chooser to select a printer to print to (I used MACKEREL).
- Launch apprunner
- Go to (say) yahoo.com and print
- Switch back to the Finder
- Use the Apple printer utility to create a new desktop printer (you might be
able to just select a different printer using the Chooser; this is merely what I
did to reproduce the problem) using lpr (to mackerel.mcom.com)
- Delete the current default printer (MACKEREL; via AppleTalk)
- Note that the lpr version of mackerel now becomes the desktop printer
- Switch back to apprunner and print again

Result: "An unknown error has occured. ID = -1"

Expected result: You should be able to print correctly to the new default
printer. This works as expected using Communicator 4.7.

I talked with Mr.Pratt to get more info on this problem. Based on the conversion,
I was ran through the steps but was not able to reproduce this problem under Mac
OS 8.6. Tested the Oct 11 build (1999101108) build of Apprunner.

Using the 1999101114 build under Mac OS 8.5, I don't see this any longer. So...
I'm marking it WFM.

Marking verified works for me.
