Steps to reproduce:

Running TB/38.1.0 and Lightning 4.0.2.

I have a CalDAV calendar that is only available in certain networks.

The computer is connected to various changing networks and cannot always reach the CalDAV server.


Actual results:

After moving out of the network the calendar is
 - deactivated
 - write protection is enabled

The error console shows:

The engl. translation of the error msg is this:
disabledMode=There has been an error reading data for calendar: %1$S. It has been disabled until it is safe to use it.


Expected results:

The behavior was introduced in the last update of Lightning.

Before that Lightning would complain that it couldn't reach the calendar but otherwise let me at least see it (offline mode is enabled).

Now I can't even see the calendar and it requires me a bunch of clicks in order to be able to use the calendar again.

Could you please revert to the previous behavior? Or at least introduce an option like "Don't deactivate calendar if server cannot be reached"?
