Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded Firefox from 39.* to 40



Actual results:

On internal company website, there are lots of selects (dropdowns) -- they all stopped responding when I try to click on an option -- but work ok when using Enter on the keyboard to select the option.
All selection options appear in the dropdown and hovering highlights them blue as usual -- but clicking is not an option...

Site seems to be using old jquery (v1.3.1) which attaches change and keydown event handlers to the selects.
