This bug executes development updates for the iOS product page deploying with v1.1.
Summary: iOS Product Page v1.1 - Development → iOS Product Page v1.1 - Implementation
Whiteboard: [fall-2015-engagement] → [kb=1838210] [fall-2015-engagement]
We discussed today the requirements and scope for updating this page for 1.1 current feature section is all about Sync Need to create new section focused on Private Browsing
Depends on: 1196554
Talked to Arcadio, We don't need new design, copy or l10n. We will add a "Keep your info private" section (same as the one on Android product page https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/) under Sync feature section. It will include the same subhead copy except change "for Android" to "for iOS" (obviously). It will only include the private browsing and clear history icons and text. learn more CTA links are TBD but most likely will link to SUMO. We also need to add 2 new icons to the Sync section: Bookmarks and Reading List (for a total of 5). Those were created last spring.

Craig, Jen followed up with Alex Davis on test results for the send to device widget and confirmed that we should be adding the embedded form along with the Play store badge to the product page.
Craig, is the send to device widget already coded? What's the level of effort to get this on the page?

(In reply to Mike Alexis [:malexis] from comment #6) > Craig, is the send to device widget already coded? What's the level of > effort to get this on the page? Both are present, but the App store badge is visible by default. The device widget can be shown in its place as part of an Optimizely test (thus hiding the App store badge), and we'll make sure the Optimizely waffle switch is still active for this page at launch time. If we want to switch that so the device widget is the default and App store is the alternative, I can do that and we'd just need to revise the test code accordingly. Otherwise I don't think we need to make any changes at all.

(In reply to Craig Cook (:craigcook) from comment #7) > Otherwise I don't think we need to make any changes at all. I spoke too soon! Since we're adding the family navbar to the page we now also have a send-to-device button in the navbar, hidden by default. So any current Optimizely test that exposes the device widget will need to be updated to show/hide buttons in the navbar as well. I can work with Alex if he needs any help targeting the right elements on the page, but jpetto is more qualified than I am to review Optimizely code.
Just a quick note that in the launch-ios@mozilla.com email distribution, I read a note that Sync'd Reading Lists will not be available in v1.1 (Nov 12). NI :rnewman - can you confirm? Here are the Sync features we plan to highlight on the v1.1 product page: http://cl.ly/image/0f1k1r2X3t3J
Flags: needinfo?(rnewman)
Correct, no RL sync in 1.1. We have no plans to sync the current reading list feature at all through either our own service or through Pocket. There are conversations about taking RL more towards "offline bookmarks" instead, which presumably would have a synchronization aspect.
