I have no particular knowledge of ASAN's internals. I googled for the particular error ("sanitizer_common.h:336 "((i)) < ((size_))") and just got hits for the existing Mozilla bugs.

Filing an issue at https://github.com/google/sanitizers might be the best thing to do. I don't see any existing issues that match this particular error.

Looks like this hasn't happened for quite a while. Calling this WORKSFORME.

(This issue probably wasn't specific to this test anyway. But happily, none of the bugs with "((i)) < ((size_))" in their title seem to have had reports for quite a while. So, I think the underlying issue really has become WFM.)
