In spark of the user story mentioned in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors/711488
It has been a proposed suggestion to improve the contributor drop off rate during the sign up as a contributor process to add explicit instructions for contributors on the register/sign up page.
Changes might include what was mentioned by the user:
"The "SIGN IN" button, at the top of
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/
link to a page that identifies itself as "Log In/Register | Mozilla Support" containing explicit instruction on how to register.
<wry smile> These instructions could walk the naive user through Mozilla Support's existing novel registration method.
The "SIGN IN" button be re-named the "SIGN IN/REGISTER" button.
