User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0 Build ID: 20150630154324 Steps to reproduce: 100+ Tabs Open Actual results: Seamonkey gets slower & slower & finally just comes to a dead stop. Have to kill it with Process Explorer Expected results: Should be able to continue to browse.
nhancement Request! @reporter: a) did you already try <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/load-tab-on-select/?src=search> converted here <http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/> for SeaMonkey? b) Did you already check Bugzilla for DUPlicates of your request?

> Don't Load Tabs Until Selected It's there already, just not enabled by default. Edit | Preferences | Browser -> When restoring sessions & windows => Only restore tabs when I need them (Some time ago, I was going to file a bug suggesting that it be enabled by default - because IMO it should be, but then I thought, well my wants won't be everyone's so figured I'd just let it go as it is, & knowing that I'd go in & make the change to fit me.)
This issue has been addressed by more recent versions (maybe 38.x, definitely 40.x and 41.x) of SeaMonkey by the "Only restore tabs when I need them" option of the main window of the "Browser" dialog of Preferences.
