Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150812163655 Steps to reproduce: Account Settings -> Server Settings -> Place check mark by "Check for new messages every 10 minutes" and "Automatically download new messages". Close Thunderbird. Open Thunderbird. Email downloads on startup. Wait 20 minutes or even all day, no more email automatically downloads. I have to manually click "Get Messages" or restart Thunderbird. Actual results: After downloading email on startup, no more email is downloaded unless I manually get messages. This is on Windows 10 with a POP email server and started with the most recent Thunderbird update (38.2.0). Expected results: Thunderbird should check for email every 10 minutes.

Well I just checked the Activity Manager again and it's proving me a liar. :) The only difference is that I restarted Thunderbird. Wondering if Thunderbird stops checking for email if Windows 10 puts the computer in sleep mode.

It definitely happens after Windows 10 puts the computer in sleep mode. After I wake it up, it stops automatically checking unless I restart Thunderbird.
