Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.130 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Have Firefox ask you for permission to use an input via getusermedia. While this getusermdia permission dialog is opened click on the browser anywhere. Actual results: The permission UI dialog will minimize or collapse into the video icon next to the url. Expected results: This dialog needs to stay open until the user decides they do or do not want to give the browser permission. It should not be minimized till the user has clicked a button in the permissions UI and certainly should not be minimized when the user clicks somewhere else on the page. This is a big issue when the window is in the background and the user brings it to the foreground while the browser is asking for permission. This causes numerous issues with the user when this dialog is minimized as they are not able to see or find where they can give the browser permission to use their microphone and camera. We have had to implement a hack animated image that points to where the user has to click in order to give the browser permission.
