Observed when snapping to GC markers, for example in a JS marker, when going back to the waterfall view, you'll see one giant strip of a marker, with no arrow indicating it can be expanded. We should have this auto expanded. Maybe only if the start time is outside range -- not sure if both need to be out of range for this to happen. VP, thoughts?

ni? for thoughts on the above ^ Bonus points if you think this is a good idea (especially with allocation snapping) and you want to do it

Makes super sense. An alternative would be to make the expando always visible, maybe with a semi-transparent white/dark background depending on the theme.

Now that we replaced the old performance panel by the Firefox Profiler (see Bug 1668219) we're closing bugs related to this.
