It appears that somewhere between v68 and v78 this bug has been reintroduced. Should this bug be reopened or a new bug filed?

File a new bug. But I see the star on all platforms (Linux Mint, Mac and Windows). You're on Linux, correct? Do you have a userChrome.css customization or something else?

Richard: Correct on the Linux Mint. And no, I don't have any customization going on. It's brand new installation of v78 from yesterday.
Very strange, I tried to dig into it with the dev tools, and then decided to make sure it wasn't one of the three add-ons I have installed. I killed them all off and restarted and the stars came back. Then I re-added each one and restarted one by one... and after all are back I still have my stars.
I guess I can just be ignored.
Thanks for the quick response.
