A message starred/marked does no longer show the yellow star icon in the Starred column of the message list. An unstarred message has a grey star icon there. But after starring the icon vanishes completely. I could only observe this on Windows XP yet, on Linux it is fine.

It was a forgotten flag-XP.png in jar.mn.

A try build to test the patch is available here: https://ftp-ssl.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/try-builds/richard.marti@gmail.com-400674b235ae

Do we know when this first happened, so that we know if it should be uplifted to beta or aurora?
This was introduced by bug 1192954 in 43 cycle.

It appears that somewhere between v68 and v78 this bug has been reintroduced. Should this bug be reopened or a new bug filed?

File a new bug. But I see the star on all platforms (Linux Mint, Mac and Windows). You're on Linux, correct? Do you have a userChrome.css customization or something else?

Richard: Correct on the Linux Mint. And no, I don't have any customization going on. It's brand new installation of v78 from yesterday.

Very strange, I tried to dig into it with the dev tools, and then decided to make sure it wasn't one of the three add-ons I have installed. I killed them all off and restarted and the stars came back. Then I re-added each one and restarted one by one... and after all are back I still have my stars.

I guess I can just be ignored.

Thanks for the quick response.
