Meta Bug:

Requirements:

2 pieces of UI needed: 1) when website requests autocomplete (basic HTML-based system implemented for desktop, Prompt.jsm implementation for mobile). 2) UI to manage information that users has entered (need DB backend).

User Stories:

- As a user, I want the browser to automatically fill out my credit card information
- As a user,I want to pick which credit card to pay with
- As a user, I want to have a way to add and delete stored credit card information
- As a user, I want to trust that my information is securely stored and not shared with others

Acceptance Criteria:

Website that require credit card information will be able to populate all required fields by leveraging requestAutocomplete API

More info:

WIP which handles addresses and credit cards. Can do logins too. More secure trusted UI.

Needs website adoption (what do we do about websites that don’t? Users might blame us for its intermittent

Depends on websites implementing this, we would have to partner with e.g. e-commerce websites and or Google

AFAIK we need to be PCI compliant for storing credit card information[1][2]. I'm not sure whether we already are? It looks like this /could/ be a complex process.
