From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)
BuildID: 20020109

While running the Preferences test suite, I entered a "New Type" in
Helper Apps and was allowed to enter nothing in the MIME Type field.
This put an entry into the File Types list, but it didn't have a name
and looked like a blank line.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. select Edit | Preferences
2. Choose Navigator -> Helper Apps
3. Click New Type...
4. enter data into the New Type dialog box, but leave MIME Type
 empty.

Actual Results: Blank line appears in File Types list

Expected Results: I expect that a MIME Type name to be entered, and if it's
not, that
you are prompted to enter one.

I first saw this on OpenVMS, but then tested on a Linux system which
had the same problem.
that's weird. a bug here was recently fixed, preventing entry of blank mimetypes.

bill?

Well, I made it so you have to enter a mime type, but apparently didn't go so
far as to force you to enter a non-blank mime type!

Easily remedied.
