User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150812163655

Steps to reproduce:

Tools->Options->Tabs.
Uncheck "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" (1_options.png)
Open two or more tabs.
Right click on leftmost tab. (2_menu.png)
Select Close Tabs to the right.

Actual results:

"Confirm Close" message box pops up. (3_messbox.png)

Expected results:

The tabs should have been closed without the message box popping up.

As an aside, it is difficult to imagine why this confirmation exists at all. If a user "accidentally" closes some tabs, they can immediately recover them from the history menu. The only situation where it might be worth prompting at all is if one of the tabs has unsubmitted form data on it.

30 years down the track, I continue to wonder why the vi is the only program I've ever seen that has a "terse" option. Not everyone using a PC is a beginner!

 and Firefox 42.0

I am able to reproduce this issue.
