I am using 2002011108 nightly and this has been happening for a week or two right now. Mozilla mail deletes *all* messages in the inbox. I first I thought I had deleted mail by accident, but now I relized that all the mail in my inbox disappears soon after I change from one folder to another. When I go back to the inbox, all the messages are gone. I can't get to do this reliabley, but it happens quite often. I get a ton of mail from mailling list, newsletters etc. Although most are filtered into subdirectories some do end up in my inbox, and thus mozilla has the opportunity to clear my inbox about 3 to 4 times a day.
This is still happening. I found something else. The mail is still in the 'Inbox' file. That is, the Inbox file is not empty. but done of the mail in the Inbox file is being displayed.
Only messages marked as read are disappearing it seems. I have switch folders on occasion and all the read messages disappear while the unread messages stay
