On nightly 43.0a1 (2015-08-28), start up a profile that has telemetry and logging enabled.
Open the browser console and wait for telemetry to start up, following the 'setup' message I consistently receive the missing aborted-session-ping error shown in the console (without any additional steps).
You can see in the log below the error that it seems to be checking for and trying to remove an old aborted-session-ping and then afterwards save a new one (presumably this is correct behaviour to capture the most recent aborted-session), but if the old aborted-session-ping file doesn't exist this error is thrown.
