Steps to reproduce:

A few days after upgrade to Win 10, I started Thunderbird and this problem appeared only in my primary email. The date of the email is August 18, 2015.

All other addresses (3) download mail OK.

I delete the duplicated emails,
The next time I try to download new messages the same email is again duplicated multiple times. 

All anti-virus, anti-malware, and anti-spyware scans show no problems found.


Actual results:

No change in situation yet.

Files have been compacted.
I deleted all but the last 2000 emails{about 10 days)


Expected results:

I want emails downloading like before.

Cliff emailed me shortly after comment 1 to say "I have not had this problem lately. I believe there have been several Win 10 updates recently. "
