The KB article on the Mozilla Maintenance Service at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-mozilla-maintenance-service> introduces the service as something which is bundled with Firefox, and explains that it is used to update Firefox. This is confusing for non-Firefox users, because the Service is also bundled with Thunderbird, and possibly other Mozilla products. The article does not even appear when searching the Thunderbird knowledge base at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird>.

Please remove Firefox-specific references from this KB article, and allow the article to be found when searching the Thunderbird knowledge base at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird>. (Or alternatively, create separate KB articles for every Mozilla product with which the Mozilla Maintenance Service us bundled.)

I updated the article description to include Thunderbird and I have a revision pending to update the search summary and content. Related discussion:

Thank you, Alice. I've approved your revision. I've also added Thunderbird instructions on how to disable the service. The steps I see are slightly different from the ones in the article you've referenced, so I'd like someone from the TB community to check the instructions.

Need info'ing Wayne to check the instructions and approve the latest revision. Otherwise, the community can pick it up during SUMO day tomorrow.

Joni, thanks for the changes. LGTM. One small item - I'm unsure in the Thunderbird steps whether to use {menu Update} or bold (I don't use much documentation. Thus, in the last revision, Update and Advanced are just bold. Please change them to {menu Update} and {menu Advanced} if you think that is appropriate

Thanks, Joni and Wayne. I'll mark this bug fixed since all that's left to do is a little polishing.
