Details
Build 2002-01-14-03
Reproducible: sometimes, but hopefully not always
What happens?
When moving a mail message to another folder, the mail actually doesn't get
moved, but the mail client actually thinks it is there. But only partially.
Because the moved mail probably has no headers and appears in the list with no
sender, no subject just the date: 01.01.1970 01:00 (I'm on GMT+1). And unread.
If needed, I can send the files to the person dealing with the bug. I don't want
to attach them to the bug, since they contain personal data.

it appears the difference lies in the Mail/news > account settings > local
directories > didn't changes, and a new .msf file is generated. You should
check these directories and set them to match the new path.

Dennis, I don't think you really understood what is happening. Nothing to do
with the folders where the mails are stored. The path is correct. And there's no
new .msf file.
