Allthough the preference mail news main menu offers the checkbox (OK it is greyed),i cannot manage to make it work. Quite surprisingly, in netwotk preference mozilla mail appears as a possible application
try 1-15 build, it just may work tomorrow.. I think there are checkins related to this today. see bug 90071.
You can't select 0.9.7 as windows Mail application. Please try a nighly build or wait for 0.9.8 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 90071 ***
