I would like no validation warning.
Can you please attach the file to this bug?
ChatZilla encourages localizers to distribute a package that just has their locale for CZ in it. It should be possible to detect this situation by only throwing these warnings if there is any overlap at all between the locale packages offered by the add-on's chrome.manifest file, and the list that it checks against? IE if there is no overlap at all, it's localizing an add-on, but as soon as it tries to offer browser locale packages, it should be treated as a full Firefox localization. Does that make sense?

(I'm happy to contribute some code here, but I dunno where the validator code lives)

I found the strings like "weave" and so on i a Firefox language pack for danish (da) language:

locale alerts da da/locale/da/alerts/
locale autoconfig da da/locale/da/autoconfig/
locale cookie da da/locale/da/cookie/
locale formautofill da da/locale/da/formautofill/
locale global da da/locale/da/global/
locale global-platform da da/locale/da/global-platform/
locale global-region da da/locale/da/global-region/
locale mozapps da da/locale/da/mozapps/
locale necko da da/locale/da/necko/
locale passwordmgr da da/locale/da/passwordmgr/
locale pipnss da da/locale/da/pipnss/
locale pippki da da/locale/da/pippki/
locale places da da/locale/da/places/
locale pluginproblem da da/locale/da/pluginproblem/
locale weave da da/locale/da/

So i guess AMO is for some reason expecting my ChatZilla translation to have the same ting.
Also if i upload the ChatZilla translation (addon/language pack) and i get the warnings about missing locales, i get a e-mail telling me that there is warnings and i need to fix them and that my upload have (only) been priliminarally approved.

So i'm guessing that if there was no warnings that the upload could have been fully approved.
