From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112012 When URL written to the navigation bar contains '[' character, mozilla charhes completely. I know it isn't a valid character for domainname, but Mozilla should better complain abut it then to crash immediately. Try www.[.com for example. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Write www.[.com to the navigation bar 2.Pres enter 3.Start Mozilla again... :-) Actual Results: Mozilla chashes Expected Results: Should complain instead.
Reporter - you are using an old build. Please download a nightly (from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/) and attempt to reproduce this bug. Thanks for using bugzilla!
