we have a dl385g8 that is not in use. it also currently has 2x 3TB drives. i've put in a quote for 2 additional 3TB drives as Arzhel requested ~6TB of storage and with the additional hardware, we can set up a RAID10 with ~6TB. RAID10 performance is superior to RAID5 and the additional I/O performance should suffice for the db.

new drives received and installed, i still need to set up the host when i come back from my trip.

new host racked and cabled, calling it new-netops.private.scl3.m.c.
