Details

(Keywords: polish, Whiteboard: [systemsfe])

Pr-condition: Device has a notification in the notification tray about new update available.

STR:
1. Go to Settings -> Device Information
2. Tap Check for updates
3. Wait for something to happen

Actual:
Text "Checking" briefly shown then nothing happens

Expected:
Notification for a new update available (yes even though there is one already sitting in there it should remind me it's there).

Why this is confusing:
I was notified of a new update but didn't install it. Later on I had forgotten about the notification and wanted to check for a new foxfooding update. Tapping on the check for updates just showed checking and no further information. After tapping repeatedly, restarting, changing channels, pinging developers for help, I was prompted to check the notification tray and saw the notification.
[Blocking Requested - why for this release]:
UI issue, probably not a blocker, but let's triage it.
