Text is not correctly centered. Difference on OSX Yosemite Firefox vs Windows Firefox

Steps to reproduce:

Mac OSX Yosemite Firefox 40.0.3

Text is vertically centered 2px too high using margin-top: https://jsfiddle.net/yeuv3nkg/4/

Actual results:

In windows firefox, IE, and chrome, and Mac Chrome, the text is correctly vertically centered in the examples above.

In Mac OSX Yosemite Firefox only, the text is not correctly vertically centered.


Expected results:

Text should be vertically centered correctly in both cases
OS: Unspecified → Mac OS X
Managed to reproduce this issue on Mac OS 10.0 on latest nightly but could not reproduce it on latest release (42.0) and could not reproduce it on 40.0.3, the version Mike mentioned.

Also verified this on Windows 7 x64 and reproduced it on latest nightly but could not reproduce it on latest release, and could not reproduce it on Chrome.
