"Export Addressbook" does not add an extension (e.g., .csv) to filename

Reproduce:
- open AB
- select: file - export - Filetype: Comma Separated (.csv)
- enter a filename without an extension, press SAVE

actual: file is saved without an extension, thus making the file less useful in
the future.

expected: The file is given an extension if user hasn't done so

PS. You might need to decide *which* extension should be given for "Tab
delimited (.tab or .txt) - I suggest .txt, unless the user specifies another
extension in the filename field.

This happens on win98SE with RC3.  Is there anything going on with this bug? 
It's been around for some time now.

This is a major usability problem, and should at least be documented in Help if
it is not going to be fixed.

I am not a "newbie" and concluded the feature was broken when it did not save my
.csv in the normal .csv format (as I assumed I didn't need to add the extension)
