The findbar at the bottom of logDisplayBrowserBox should hide when switch to other conversations in online or offline contacts. It hides as expected in Conversations. It should be somewhere near here https://dxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/source/mail/components/im/content/chat-messenger-overlay.js#912

Hello, can I work on this bug?

Currently the findbar remains open even when switching conversations and folders.
I think that's fine and we shouldn't hide it without a user action.
So, if this behavior is consistent with what happens in the chat code, I'm okay with marking this as WONTFIX.
Martin, what do you think? Feel free to close it if you agree.

Actually, after testing this I found out that now the findbar is unique per conversation, so when switching between conversations the findbar disappears, remembers its context, and it remains open only for those conversations in which it was used, maintaining the searched terms.
Completely standalone and unique per conversation.
Closing this.
