While combing through the nagios logs I found these three hosts that where not configured correctly. eis-automation1.private.scl3.mozilla.com #this host doesn't have nrpe installed. api.dynect.net #not ours. nsmserver1.private.scl3.mozilla.com #this host I don't have access.

I'll remove the host from nagios
All nsm hosts removed from nagios.
It looks like eis-automation1.private.scl3.mozilla.com was removed from Nagios
Based on 1195348, hit enter too soon (confirmed with ashish as well)
Working with gozer on either fixing the check_dynect nagios plugin, or removing it all-together
Dynect removed in R108078 All hosts in the original comment should now be removed
