If the <select> element is removed from the document, the popup does not close. Similarly, the page can be closed by a script, yet the popup will remain.
Steps:

1. Click the button then quickly open the popup.

The popup should close when the <select> button disappears.
Hi,

I have managed to reproduce this on Windows 10, Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS X 10.7 on the latest Aurora (46.0a2) only with e10s enabled.
