User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20150909030223 Firefox for Android Steps to reproduce: Sometimes when editing a wikipedia article using Firefox for Android, the content is not repainted while the text is modified using the onscreen-keyboard, as illustrated by the following clip: http://youtu.be/4DfI-e2UMV0 Steps performed in the video: 1. Go do: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SD-Karte 2. Scroll down to "Maximale Anzahl der Schreibvorgänge" 3. Click on edit, 4. Place the cursor after the paragraph "Lesezugriffe auf Flash-Speicher sind unbegrenzt möglich." 5. Try to enter or delete text The phone used was running Android-4.4.4 and had a 800x480 screen. Actual results: The text modifications are not visible on screen immediatly, only after tapping into the text area FireFox decides to relayout/repaint the area. Also a bit annoying is that the upper bar flickers while entering text. Expected results: The editor should work as expected, without any flickering of the upper bar.

The cursor wasn't moving in the video, so we weren't repainting at all?
This may be an IME bug I though we had a similar bug on file for Facebook but I cannot find it at this moment.
I've also experienced a similar issue with the mobile facebook web client.
This does not affect the desktop Wikipedia, only the mobile site. Here's a screen capture illustrating this bug, as well as a few more bugs with mobile Wikipedia editing: https://youtu.be/ph6rGUegZhc The display also sometimes blanks instead of just not repainting. I think this may be related, so here's a screen capture showing that behaviour: https://youtu.be/6V22X2gQRj0
(Forgot to mention, those videos have explanatory captions.)
Apologies, I was apparently using Phony when I posted the bug. Here's the true UA: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 5.1; Mobile; rv:42.0) Gecko/42.0 Firefox/42.0
Oops. Please disregard the previous comment, wrong bug.

Edwin is long since no longer with us, and this bug is so old that it makes more sense to just close it out for now. It can be reopened again if for some reason it still exists.
