Hi Flod,

Mike finalized these strings before he left for vacation.  For the moment, we have two sets of files. One for iOS and one for Android.  

We need to have them set up in github. Though the files are almost the same, there are slight variations, so I will let localizers know to leverage from one another.  The iOS has higher priority.

I will send you a separate email on other needs he has and we can figure out the best way to set these separate requests up.

*Deadline*:
Localized and reviewed screenshots will be done and handed off by Oct 15th.  

There are a few screenshots, each will be created for different size of iOS devices.  Because of the size difference, review of line break is important.  

He also said, technically, we can have it localized in other languages. However, Tannie needs to make them into screenshots, so this can be done at a later time depends on Tannie's bandwidth.

Once you set up the file, I will file individual bugs for the locales mentioned above.

I am taking this bug. 

Since we are no longer doing a test with just one locale but are now scaling up the number of locale, we will now work in production mode ant that means that localization will be done with the same tools and automation we have set up for Google Play, that means not in google docs.

Per discussion with Arcadio, this is what Mike intended to do:

"Mike wants to have those three strings localized so we can test the message in FB. Once we have the facebook test confirmed, we will pick the winning string and use it as the final message on the first screen on the iOS app store description. "

The winning string is "a combination of engagement metrics likes, clicks, shares. Mostly we're looking for CTRs as determinants of 'winning'. "

Pascal, I really need to get this started.  Creating screenshots itself takes time + review and implementation of fixes.  I don't want to use the google doc, but if this takes time to set up, I will resort to that for the time being.  Thanks!

Firefox for iOS description is now in a decent l10n workflow and translation is done via lang files as we do for Google Play.

The work that was done for German and French was ported to lang files. The strings missed by the google doc request and needed for updates ('© Mozilla and its contributors 2015', 'This update contains stability improvements and bug fixes.') were also added. Of course, all the URLs are now variables.

The Google Doc for German didn't have any strings translated for screenshots, this is now in the lang file.

I created a public API that release drivers will hopefully be able to use for automation as they figure out how to update our content on the appStore automatically.

I think that's because the first 'browse' was changed to 'browser'. Will be fixed in a few hours.

This is fixed, the row is called es-ES, this is because we use the es code for Firefox for iOS but both the dashboard and the Apple Store use es-ES, now on the dashboard we use the es-ES locale code for both Android and iOs.

The fix is in production, there was indeed a typo in the copy we were provided, the word browse was listed twice in the keywords, one of them should have been browser.

Peying, I am not seeing an es-ES bug opened as a dependency for screenshot creation and review, could you please open one?

The marketing content in the screenshots have been reviewed an approved.  The purpose of this round of review is to make sure the product screenshots in the composite images have the correct languages.  Please keep in mind of the following during this review:

- It is normal to have both English and your language in the mix of the screenshots.  Is it your locale?
- The *keyboard* is correct for your locale?
- DO NOT compare your locale with other locales.  Some product shots of web sites may or may not be the same.  This is not a mistake.
- The *Fast-Phone-Website* screenshot is still being worked on as we speak.  This will come in on Wednesday during your day time. Look for updates from Tannie when this is completed.

*Deadline*: Oct 21 PDT.  Apologize for not leaving much time for this final sign off.  This is meant for a final look on language matching accuracy.  We hope there are no corrections needed.

It would be great if we could have localized screenshots(and BPMF keyboard too) for zh-TW, but using English is still fine to the market, especially for such hurry deadline and only couple of browsers have headlines localized in Taiwan's App Store.
