Steps to reproduce:

Firefox 40.0.3  I downgraded back to 39.0.3 and everything is working again.

Click on link on several webpages that have a redirect.

Youtube page has link in description:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPjzfGChGlE

link in video description:
https://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.numbersusa.org%2F&redir_token=2dsMsaA1mPt8VQTvjtNLScsfXnp8MTQ0MjE2NzA5M0AxNDQyMDgwNjkz

should redirect to:
https://www.numbersusa.org/#


Actual results:

It goes to a blank white page.  Viewing source the source code is there but page is blank white.  refresh does nothing.  URL stays as redirect url (https://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.numbersusa.org%2F&redir_token=2dsMsaA1mPt8VQTvjtNLScsfXnp8MTQ0MjE2NzA5M0AxNDQyMDgwNjkz
)  instead of changing to (https://www.numbersusa.org/#)


Expected results:

Redirect URL should have loaded

WFM with FF40.

Could you test:
1) in safe mode:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

2) with a fresh profile:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Does it fix your issue?

I tested this problem with FF Nightly 45.0a1 and it works for me. Please follow the steps that Loic provided to you and retest the issue. Thank you
