From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20020111 BuildID: 2002011103, 0.9.7 and before I use outlook XP as my main email prog. I tried to import mail using .9.7 and earlier builds, but i get error message saying "Unable to create proxy object ..." message about 10-15% into the import. I can see some of the folders that were imported, but when i click on them- the cursor just changes to the busy cursor. There is not mail that shows up in the folders. I think import is one of the critical featur5es that has to perfect before release. Also, I have another suggestion: You should be able to import the rules wizard from Outlook- so that incomming mail is automatically filtered and directed to the appropriate folder in the mailbox. I dont know if the imp[ort settings feature does that. Also suppose i create a set of new rules in Mail, I should be able to run the rules on existing Mail- outlook lets you do that.I think the Mail/News needs quite a bit of bug fixes. I thought the sidebar divider in the 0.9.6 version was better- i think the new one is just too thick- same goes fot Navigator. The sidebar divider can be made a little thinner. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.import mail from outlook 2. 3. Actual Results: import fails- "Unable to create proxy objects...." Expected Results: import should be successfull please take a look at the suggestions
