"View Page Source" is very good feature, unlike Internet Explorer's editing in
in Notepad by default. But IN ADDITION to this feature there should be a feature
"Edit Page With...", so you could add any application to it's submenu.

After customizing it could look like this:

Edit Page With > Browse for application...
                 Add application to this list
                 Edit applications list
                 -----------------------------
                 Mozilla Composer
                 Macromedia Dreamweaver
                 Macromedia HomeSite
                 EditPlus
                 Open in Opera
                 TextPad
MS Notepad if you use it

I know a lot of people that will be really happy to use this feature!

There are two variants: Mozilla could save a page in the temp directory, or it
can open "Save To..." dialog and open from that location.

I'm very sorry, but it isn't a duplicate. As you see, I recommend to add a MENU
with option to include MORE THAN ONE editors, and this is much better! This
option should be like it is in Dreamweaver, or HomeSite, or PageMill, where you
can send page to more than one browser. Sometimes you want to view page source,
sometimes you want to view or edit it in WYSIWYG editor, and sometimes, of
course, you want to edit it in HTML source editor (simple, or more powerful,
depending on what do you want to do in the moment). So, if you have to
reconfigure editor EVERY TIME, or to use ONLY NOTEPAD, which is very poor
editor, and doesn't work with files >65Kb, it will be very uncomfortable, so you
should better Save As... this page and open it manually!

Not at all! And thank you! Me and my friends will be happy to use this feature
in future! (Mozilla will be the first browser, in which great built-in View Page
Source will come together with comfortable Edit With.)
