From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20020116 BuildID: 2002011608 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use ebay search to bring up a list of auction items (the provided URL is a search for "foo"). 2. Click on the link for any of the items that were found. Actual Results: Download window comes up Expected Results: Display HTML page The download dialog is titled "Downloading eBayISAPI.dll" and says: # You have chosen to download a file of type: "Windows DLL" # [application/octet-stream] from # http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/ I think this may be a regression caused by the patch for bug 115176.
Also, copying the auction item link (such as http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1061365851) and pasting it into the URL bar still results in a download dialog.
Using OS 9.x and Mozilla build 2001122106 and everything seems to work fine.
Build 2001122106 is way too old for a WorksForMe. The patch for bug 115176 was put in this week, just before the 0.9.8 freeze.
