- build from 1/16/01, though this has been around for a while
- launch app, open nav, type something you know autocompletes

expected:

- autocomplete widget drops down

actual:

- nothing
- however, if you hit backspace and start typing the same thing again, it appears.'

only seems to happen the very first time.

This works for me with 01/18, 01/17 and 01/16 OSX Mozilla builds. 

Mike, can you try with a different profile? 
not seeing this widespread. not an 0.9.8 blocker.
