When a new account is created on Fennec with the FxA web flow, the user will end up at a "you need to verify your email" page. The fxa-content-server is clever and updates that page when the email is verified (providing the session is still alive and a connection is present, etc). It does this by polling locally, IIUC.

https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/3079 tracks sending a message to the browser when verification is observed.

This ticket tracks the Fennec client work to listen to that observation and trigger a sync. The sync will then observe the verified account and move the login state machine forward.

This ticket is the Fennec counterpart to Desktop's Bug 1204714.
