I am using the Sony Z3C foxfood phone.
Chris, Can you add logs to this defect please. We are unable to reproduce this. Thanks

I don't see any log messages whatsoever related to geolocation in adb logcat, even after enabling the "Geolocation Output in ADB" setting in the Developer Settings.

Kevin, Can you please confirm if this bug can be reproduced? Thanks

I still see this problem with the current dogfood channel (Gecko 43.0a1 build identifier 20150812225219). I tested Firefox and HERE Maps.
You do have Geolocation toggled on in Setting, correct?

Unable to reproduce this issue on Aries RC4 or the build after OTA. Enabled wifi + Geolocation, or data + geolocation, accessing Google Maps via Browser or Here Maps app downloaded from Marketplace, I was able to locate myself on the map after I gave permission to the app to obtain my location. oops! Sorry! The Geolocation setting was off, which was a surprise to me. Is 'off' the default value?

Off is not the default. It is turned on by default but you can easily change it during First Time Experience or later turn it off in Settings. Thanks for confirming. Removing qawanted tag. Also please don't remove needinfo as it is part of our triage process. Thanks.
