Steps to reproduce:

Updated from b2g/Gaia from 20150913 (shallow flash) to 20150920 (full reset & new flash) and then even 20150921 (shallow flash, full rest, new flash)


Actual results:

The setting menu allows at most a couple of selections before it gets stuck at the settings menu. You can not move to selected sub menu. Toggles work. Reboot allows another couple of selections before being unable to proceed further. You can back out to homescreen.


Expected results:

Fully functioning setting menu.

should be noted the 20150920 b2g/Gaia I did attempt a shallowflash also before headed to full reset

using the latest v18d_nightly_v4 2.5 base image now.. nightly update hits an error when looking via the settings menu

shallowflash of 20150921 b2g/gaia install (just adding wifi connection & my email to firefox mail list), results in homescreen being blank. Just the wallpaper & search bar.

reverting back to 20150913 as I don't have time to revert backwards one release at time. The b2g on it's own immediately shows homescreen when rebooted & unlocked. Gaia from the same date retains the homescreen. Reboot retains these settings too.

I've just installed every nightly from the 13 September to today. Problem appears from the 19 September. Screen is black on that nightly build. Reverted to 18 September and homescreen returns and earlier discussed problem with settings menu is not present.

18 September reproduced settings menu issue after editing a few of the settings. Reverting back to 17 September seems to not have this bug

might be related to bug 1206272 which just landed, lets see if it solved the issue

Looks to have been fixed. Running 2.5 nightly from 2015-09-27 with a shallow flash.
Also tested a full flash to latest base image to be sure. -- Checked out fine (note it shows as b2g 3.0.0 and will not grab an update other than marketplace)
Testing another shallow flash over this new base image. -- Rebooted with blank homepage (included search & wallpaper though)
Another reboot seemed to rectify and now running 2.5.0.0-prerelease.
Changes to settings to my liking did NOT reproduce earlier menu error, so will now close.
