Reproduced with Firefox 42 beta 1 (buildID: 20150921151815) on Windows 7 32bit. 

STR:
1. Open any page, e.g: http://www.golem.de/
2. Press the doorhanger from the url bar (the icon representing an earth globe).
3. Hover over the ">" button. 

ER: The hover animation is done correctly, while the background color of the ">" button is grey when hovering over it.

AR: The background color of the ">" button is not totally grey when hovering over it. Please see attachment "issue.png". 

Note: The background color of the "More Information" and "Disable protection for this site" buttons is partially grey. Please see attachment "buttons.png". It is expected?

Which bit isn't grey that you'd expect to be grey? I'm confused, the button looks grey on the screenshot...

This looks OK to me for now.

I've tested on latest Nightly 50.0a1 (buildID: 20160710030217) on Windows 7 and I have the following mention: 

1. "The background color of the "More Information" and "Disable protection for this site" buttons is partially grey."
          - it looks OK now

2. "The background color of the ">" button is not totally grey when hovering over it."
          - it seems that the issue is reproducible only on my machine, on other machines it look OK. On my machine, the background color of the ">" button has multiple gray scales and a vertical gray line is displayed between them. It may be a hardware issue.  

I will mark it RESOLVED WORKSFORME. If I will reproduce the issue on another machine or if anyone else will ran into this, we'll reopen it.
