Setting period and delay of sensor events can reduce the power consumption of B2G devices.

For example, we currently monitor the gyroscope sensor to determine device orientation and adjust the screen accordingly (landscape vs portrait). The gyroscope sensor fires constantly, but the screen orientation only requires an update once per second or so. We should be able to configure the sensor accordingly.
